Parish Council Secretery

My name is Barb Douglas. I have been a member at St. Albert’s Parish for three years. I currently volunteer as the Secretary for St. Albert’s Council of Catholic Women (CCW), serving funeral lunches, sub-committee lead for Parish Festival, Fundraising Viability Committee, and the Red Cross Blood Drive at Albertville Country Inn Hotel. I was raised Catholic; I transferred from Risen Savior in Burnsville to St. Alberts after I lost my beloved husband to cancer. I relocated to the Albertville area to be nearer to my son and his family. I have two daughters who live out of state. I have 7 precious grandchildren. My leadership abilities stem from my nursing management career. Decisions had to be made, tough conversations had to be had, and where there could be fun – we had fun. Compassion, kindness, accountability, and collaboration are my core values. I look forward to being of service to you. God Bless you.
