Nativity Pageant

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! All are invited to come and enjoy the Nativity Christmas Pageant 2024!

All children in the parish are invited to participate in the Nativity Pageant And, adults will be needed too!
 
When: Sunday, December 15, 2024
Time: 3:00-4:30PM
Where: St. Albert Parish Center
What to Expect:

• Nativity Pageant - includes scripture readings and music as the story of the birth of Jesus is presented by children of the parish in costumes.
• Christmas Carols - join the choir in singing our beloved songs.
• Visit from St. Nicholas and St. Lucy - with photo opportunity!
• Hot Cocoa/Cider and S'mores Bar
• Christmas Bingo for Children with Prizes!
• ALL for FREE!

We need your help to make the Nativity Pageant a success:

• Children (3 years old to Grade 7) are needed to dress up in costume for the different roles of the Nativity, such as shepherds, sheep, angels and more!  
  • Costumes are provided.  Arrive between 2:30-2:45pm to get dressed.
  • No practices - children just walk to the stage when directed (sheep can crawl).
  • These are non-speaking roles - no lines to memorize!
• Youth Readers are needed for the telling of the Nativity Story.  Readers speaking parts are short 4-5 sentences as they narrate the Nativity Story.
• Singers - We need children in Grades 4-7 to sing with the Choir.  There will be 1-2 short practice nights on Thursday, December 5 & 12 at 5:00pm.
• Adults and Youth - Both adult and youth volunteers are needed to help dress children in their costumes, serve hot cocoa/cider and s’mores and kids bingo. Check out the sign-up for where you can help out.
