For the Christian, the day of death inaugurates the end of their sacramental life and the fulfillment of their new birth begins at Baptism.
If you have recently lost a loved one, please contact Janet at the Parish Office at 763-497-2474, Ext. 9 for assistance in scheduling and planning a funeral. A meeting with a priest or deacon will be scheduled with the family to organize the Mass of Christian burial.
The resources below help with funeral liturgy and cemetery planning:
St. Albert’s offers a funeral lunch for the family and mourners after the Mass and burial rites. We organize and serve the meal. The cost of the meal is paid for by the family. Volunteers are needed to prepare, serve and help clean up. If anyone is interested in volunteering, please contact one of the representatives below:
Funeral Lunch Representatives:
Jeanne Vetsch 763-497-2891
Trish Kosey 808-753-3448
We try to rotate the volunteers so you do not have to work at every funeral.
