Three (3) Reasons Why You Like St Albert's 1. Warmth: When we moved to Albertville and attended our first Mass at the Church of St Albert, Fr Richards (parish priest at that time) and a few parishioners approached our family and gave us a warm welcome. With the ongoing sense of belonging, the parish radiates kindness and positivity. 2. Humility: I aminspired by the humility and joy of Fr. Joe and the dedicated volunteers whose service embodies true discipleship. 3. Faithfulness: I like seeing the faithfulness of Fr Joe and the parishioners. I see God in this parish and in the hearts of parishioners!
What event/s in St Albert's do you like and why? Mostly faith formation events such as: Alpha – This reminds me of my youth and young adult days when I was part of a Koinonia group—a small faith-based group organized by age. We met weekly for discussions, sometimes Bible study, and over time we built deep friendships. It’s similar in many ways to Alpha. I love the topics in Alpha—I never get tired of hearing them, even after all these years. There’s always something new to learn and share, especially through the faith and life experiences of others. I especially love the concept of sharing meals and building friendships. That’s exactly the kind of spiritual growth I’m looking for.
Total Lifelong Catechesis (TLC) – I appreciate that there's a family formation class where the whole family can participate together and learn more about the Catholic faith.
Women’s Ministry – I love how important it is to have a faith-based community where women can share their faith and struggles, pray for one another, learn together, serve alongside each other—and of course, have fun!
Cana Dinner – I love that there is a faith formation social event for couples to enrich Catholic marriage.
Share any fun, good, or inspirational stories about the parish There are so many beautiful stories I could share, but one moment that deeply touched me and my entire family stands out. When my father was diagnosed with cancer, Fr. Richards, Fr. Joe, the prayer teams at St. Albert’s—even providing him with a prayer blanket—and several parishioners reached out to my parents with genuine care and prayerful support. We felt their sincerity, their compassion, and the incredible power of united prayer. It meant—and still means—a lot to us.
