Three (3) Reasons Why You Like St Albert's
1. Deep family history and community. Tom grew up with St. Albert's being an important part of his life. He has many wonderful memories of his parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, and neighbors at St. Albert's that helped him grow in his faith. We are blessed to be able to continue the Berning Family's traditions with our children.
2. Service: it gives us great joy to give back to St. Albert's and grow in community with others through serving.   
3. Father Joe: we are inspired by his enthusiasm and strong faith. We consider him a dear friend and an incredible mentor to our children.
 
What event/s in St Albert's do you like and why?
We deeply enjoy all the community building activities and programs that St. Albert's has to offer because it allows us to serve and give back and to meet others to grow in community. Our family enjoyed TLC. Tom is a PLT member, former Parish Council member, participates in adoration, and an usher; Kristen is a reader, past Alpha team leader, and volunteers with women's events; and our children are altar servers and volunteer with the youth group's CORE Team.
 
Share any fun, good, or inspirational stories about the parish
For Kristen, there is no greater joy than when she walks in the 4:00pm Mass procession as a reader holding the Gospel, following our two children and nephews as altar servers. It is a special gift to be able to read and spread the word of the Lord to our community. We also love the 4:00pm group of volunteers like family, as it is often the same volunteers. We are a wonderful team who has lots of fun serving St. Albert's!
