I grew up near Biwabik, MN next to Lake Eshquaguma. I am the youngest of fourteen children. I enjoy golfing in the summer, hunting in the fall and cross country skiing in the winter. I went to college at St. John University in Collegeville and I went to St. Paul Seminary. After ordination in May of 1998, I was an associate pastor at Mary, Mother of the Church in Burnsville, MN until September of 2001 when I became pastor of St. Albert’s in Albertville, MN. In 2003, I also became pastor of St. John the Baptist parish in Dayton, MN until I left those two parishes to become pastor of St. Michael’s, St. Michael, MN in August of 2009. I am blessed to have received another 6 year term as pastor of St. Michael and also, once again pastor my former, nearby parish, St. Albert in Albertville

As Business Administrator, I assist the Pastor by overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Parish – the financial processes, the buildings/grounds, and helping the rest of the staff fulfill the parish mission. My wife and I raised four (now grown) children in Minneapolis. We enjoy all things outdoors especially when we can get together with our nine grandchildren. I have enjoyed many years working for Catholic Parishes and am very happy to have added the Church of St Albert to that list.

I first served as a Parochial Vicar at Holy Spirit, St. Paul, and taught part time at Cretin Derham High School. Then I served at St. Raphael in Crystal, about 3 years; 10 years at Our Lady of the Prairie, Belle Plaine; about 4 years as Parochial Vicar at our mission parish in San Felix, Venezuela; 4 years at Immaculate Conception, Lonsdale, and I have since helped out at many cluster parishes until being assigned as Parochial Vicar at the parishes of St. Albert and St. Michael. I look forward to growing with you through the gift of the Holy Spirit.
