I grew up near Biwabik, MN next to Lake Eshquaguma. I am the youngest of fourteen children. I enjoy golfing in the summer, hunting in the fall and cross country skiing in the winter. I went to college at St. John University in Collegeville and I went to St. Paul Seminary.
After ordination in May of 1998, I was an associate pastor at Mary, Mother of the Church in Burnsville, MN until September of 2001 when I became pastor of St. Albert’s in Albertville, MN. In 2003, I also became pastor of St. John the Baptist parish in Dayton, MN until I left those two parishes to become pastor of St. Michael’s, St. Michael, MN in August of 2009. I am blessed to have received another 6 year term as pastor of St. Michael and also, once again pastor my former, nearby parish, St. Albert in Albertville
Greg Gacioch, Parish Administrator
As Business Administrator, I assist the Pastor by overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Parish – the financial processes, the buildings/grounds, and helping the rest of the staff fulfill the parish mission. My wife and I raised four (now grown) children in Minneapolis. We enjoy all things outdoors especially when we can get together with our nine grandchildren. I have enjoyed many years working for Catholic Parishes and am very happy to have added the Church of St Albert to that list.
Rita Fay, Administrative Assistant
My responsibilities as Administrative Assistant covers a wide variety of duties, from bookkeeping and secretarial to receptionist. I have been working
at St. Albert's since 1996. It is a blessing and a privilege to be part of the Staff that serves this parish. I am a life long member of St. Albert's and the
Janet Welter, Bulletin Editor / Office Assistant
I work in the parish office as bulletin editor and office assistant. My husband, Mike, and I have been members of our community for most of our lives and have raised our six children here as well. I am a 2012 graduate of the Archbishop Harry J. Flynn Catechetical Institute and for more than 25 years have enjoyed volunteering at St. Albert’s in a variety of ways. I am grateful to be working for our faith community and serving the parishioners and staff here.
Jean Wold, Director of Religious Education
As Director of Religious Education, I work under the direct supervision of the pastor. My duties include planning and implementing programs of faith formation at St. Albert’s, which includes Total Lifelong Catechesis (TLC) and sacramental preparation for First Reconciliation, First Communion and Confirmation. My family and I are members at St. Alberts.
Ruth Gladitsch, Youth Minister
Ruth began her position as the Youth Minister for St. Albert's in August of 2015. Originally from Saint Paul, Ruth began volunteering in church Ministry at the age of 16. After serving two years as a missionary with National Evangelization Team (NET) Ministries, she moved to Buffalo and volunteered alongside her husband as a program development assistant and Discipleship mentor with St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church's youth ministry program for almost four years. During this time, she operated her own tutoring business, instructing history, American Sign Language, writing and research skills. Ruth holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and a certificate in American Sign Language studies from the University of Minnesota. Ruth lives with her husband, Daniel, and their daughter, Monica, in Buffalo, MN.
Pam Lindenfelser, Custodian
I have been a member of St. Albert’s church
since I married my husband Ray in 1996. We have two boys, Jordan and Dylan.
I grew up in the neighboring parish of St. Michaels. My duties here at St.
Albert’s include; cleaning the church and parish offices. Some other places
you might see me within the parish are with the CCW, Eucharistic minister,
homebound minister, hospitality weekends, festival committees and I started
the back to school garage sale.
Cyndie Winkelman, Custodian
Rev Mr. Steven Dupay, Deacon
I was raised in Minneapolis and graduated from Edison High School. He attended the University of St. Thomas, where he received a B.A. in Quantitative Methods. Years later he studied at St. John’s University, earning a M.A. in Theology with an emphasis in pastoral ministry. In 2002 he was ordained a permanent deacon. Deacon Dupay is married to his high school sweetheart, and has four grown children and nine grandchildren.
Fr. Thomas McCabe, Associate Pastor

I studied at St. John Vianney Seminary and graduated in 1988 with a double major in Theology and Philosophy. I then applied and was accepted to be further formed at St. Paul Seminary
and was ordained a transitional deacon on Dec. 7, 1991, and then ordained a priest on May 30, 1992. I first served as a Parochial Vicar at Holy Spirit, St. Paul, and taught part time at
Cretin Derham High School. Then I served at St. Raphael in Crystal, about 3 years; 10 years at Our Lady of the Prairie, Belle Plaine; about 4 years as Parochial Vicar at our mission
parish in San Felix, Venezuela; 4 years at Immaculate Conception, Lonsdale, and I have since helped out at many cluster parishes until being assigned as Parochial Vicar at the
parishes of St. Albert and St. Michael. I look forward to growing with you through the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Mark Barthel, Maintenance Coordinator
My wife Dianne and I have been members since 1984. I began my Mainenance Coordinator position in St. Albert in 2013. Along with the help of the Custodial Staff I maintain the buildings and grounds needs. When issues arise for either buildings or grounds, I am available to tend to the situation by a staff member contacting me.
