Helping out in a time of grief and sorrow is a corporal work of mercy.
St. Albert’s offers a funeral lunch for the family and mourners after the Mass and burial rites. We organize and serve the meal. Cost of the meal is paid for by the family. Volunteers are needed to prepare, serve and help clean up. If anyone is interested in volunteering, please contact one of the representatives below:
Funeral Lunch Representatives:
Marlene Lindenfelser 763-497-2265
Jeanne Vetsch 763-497-2891
We try to rotate the volunteers so you do not have to work at every funeral.
For the Christian the day of death inaugurates, at the end of their sacramental life, the fulfillment of their new birth begun at Baptism.
A funeral Mass or Liturgy of the Word may be scheduled by contacting the Parish Office.
A priest or deacon will contact the family to organize an appropriate celebration of the deceased’s entry into God’s heavenly kingdom. Authentic worship is based in relationship. We worship to give thanks and praise to God who has given us.
